It's one of my favorite bands. I think Max Cavalera is one of the best vocalists.

It would be cool if he did a song with (hed) or if the two bands toured together... what do you guys think?

Soulfly are an amazing band. Definitely one of my favourites.

As for Max being an amazing vocalist...meh, I personally thinks he has a terrible voice. Having said that, his vocal stylersuits Soulfly really well.

I like this type of voice, don't like when it's too smooth.

That's why I don't like female metal vocalists (apart from Arch Enemy)

Max is a good songwriter and a decent screamer. He admits himself that he has a terrible voice and cannot sing. He also doens't write very good lyrics. But he's a fucking legend and I still look up to him.

i like soulfly, the last 2 albums are very heavy for soulfly, sound like something sepultura wouldve done

have you people heard max's other band Cavalera Conspiracy? i liked that cd better than dark ages

For me is the best Soulfly album "Prophecy", truely the one with Soulfly vibe and spirit!
Last two albums are more old Seps sound or should I say wanna be old Sepultura sound.... Max once said, that every next album will be heavier and faster, which makes me sad...we can expect new one by the end of 09 or in the beggining of 2010 Shocked

CC? saw them live in Slovenia, it was good show with great vibe, nice to se two brothers 2gether again.... but for me album is nothing special, I guess it was made very "quickly", just to put something out there....

CC will never be as good as Nailbomb was back days, that"s fact!!!

Max Cavalera is the father of modern metal. Soulfly was one of the few world-famous bands played live in my home-city. Their show was great. I've got backstage pass signed by Mark Rizzo, Bobby Burns and Joe Nunes. Max has left a place straight from a scene Sad

I love these guys selftitled album. I bought it cause of the link to deftones and thought I should check it out. The collab with Benjji on "prejudice" is fucking intense!

Self-titled and Primitive are my favorite Soulfly albums.

The collab with Tom Araya is really cool.
