So a little over a year later from the last post, and we finally have a title and release date for the new album.

The album will be called Diamond Eyes, and will release May 18. They are also going to release Rocket Skates as a free download next week, Feb 23.

Got my download ticket. RATM and Deftones. I can't believe RATM are actually coming here again for the second time in 2 years. Its crazy.

This will be my 3rd time seeing Deftones, They have been on form recently, really energetic live shows.

Yeah. Hefty chunks of Rocket Skates can be found online. The song sounds quite promising. Love Deftones. Especially their self-titled album.

Around the fur is the only album that I like by Deftones so far. I liked it so much I bought it, lol. The only thing that bothers me with this band is I think all their songs kinda sound the same because of the guys singing.

Listened to Rocket Skates a ton. Fuck that song is awesome. Hopefully it's a good representation of the full album.

Not a bad song but not a huuuuuuge fan. Was slightly disappointed with Saturday Night Wrist...even though it did have some awesome songs...

I loved their self titled effort the most.

I don't really like the new album yet, maybe it'll grow on me. I'm missing the agressive vibe, plus I don't really like Chino's singing in most of the chorus'

Agressive? It's definitely got a fair share of angry evil screaming don't ya reckon?...

To me, Chino hasn't changed the style of his voice on Diamond Eyes.

His vocal sounds the same as on the other albums...cept for maybe Adrenaline and Fur.
